The Danish Constitution's section 78, 2., states that "Associations that work or are looking to achieve their goals by violence, incitement of violence or similar punishable influence of people of different convictions, shall be dissolved by law."

This targets associations, not ideologies, and cannot simply be extended. But it can be used against Islamic organizations that openly call for killing of non-Muslims, apostates and critics of Islam and other illegal activities.

Anti-terror laws and other existing sections may also be used against such groups. Section 67 of the Danish Constitution is concerned with religious freedom, which is not a given in Denmark: "Citizens have the right to unite in communities to worship God according to their conviction, provided that nothing is taught or done which is contrary to good morals or public order."

It also tells Muslim men to beat disobedient women, it allows paedophilia and its aim is to eradicate man-made law and install sharia world wide. Islam is, without any doubt, contrary to good morals and public order. Unfortunately, deviating from the literal interpretation of Islamic texts is - contrary to all other major religions - illegal according to the Quran and is punishable with death. When will our police and courts find the courage to enforce the law?

Relatively peaceful when the numbers are small, the Islamic cohort becomes incrementally and progressively belligerent as the numbers rise. “The question is,” he concludes, “how long will leftist media and politicians refuse to face reality, including by propagating the false “grievance” claim, which, once Muslims reach enough numbers—as is projected for Europe—will be discarded for the full-blown jihad?”

“European governments speak as enemies of Israel, behave as enemies of Israel and take decisions only enemies of Israel would take. They are at war with Israel. There is no doubt they hope for results similar to those at Auschwitz, just by other means. If moral values are what Israelis and Jews are looking for in Europe, they are looking in the wrong place„ — 

For nearly two millennia, the European continent has been a land of persecution and hatred for the Jewish people. The blood libels and the vilest accusations against the Jews have been accompanied by violence, pogroms, and confinement in ghettos and of course death camps.

Eight decades ago, in the 1930's, anti-Semitism was considered honorable and aroused few objections. Later, the Nazi machine set into motion the "final solution," and zealous collaborators existed in virtually all of continental Europe. "Willing executioners" were not only Germans -- far from it.

It is not possible for the EU to grovel any lower?

The ‘military wing’ of Hezbollah is part and parcel of the same entity, there are no separate autonomous institutions within Hezbollah (and the Hamas terror organization), anymore than there were separate autonomous units within the Al Capone mob in Chicago. The bribing of officials and social services to communities in the areas of the mob’s influence stemmed from the same office that ordered acts of violence.

In what was essentially a dare to the European Union, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said on Wednesday that the militant Shiite Muslim organisation would demand to be included in any new Lebanese government, despite the EU's designation earlier this week of Hezbollah's military wing as a terrorist organisation.

In a televised speech, Sheikh Nasrallah also mocked the EU's careful distinction between Hezbollah's military and political wings, both of which he leads.

''A government without Hezbollah will never be formed,'' he said. ''Just as a joke, I propose that our ministers in the next government be from the military wing of Hezbollah.''

THIS WEEK the EU took three steps that together prove Europe's ill-intentions toward the Jewish state.

First, last Friday the EU announced it is imposing economic sanctions on Israel. The sanctions deny EU funds to Israeli entities with an address beyond the 1949 Armistice Lines. They also deny EU funds to Israeli entities countrywide that carry out activities beyond the 1949 Armistice Lines.

The EU's second action was the publication Tuesday of EU foreign policy commissioner Catherine Ashton's letter to her fellow commissioners informing them that by the end of the year, the EU will publish binding requirements for specially labeling Israeli goods produced by Jews beyond the 1949 Armistice Lines exported to EU member states.

This act is potentially more damaging for Israel than the ban on transferring EU monies to Israeli entities with "bad" addresses. Labeling Israeli products is a means of signaling Europeans consumers that they should view all Israeli exports as morally inferior to other goods and wage a consumer boycott of Israeli products. Indeed, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius described the proposed labeling as an alternative to a broader boycott of all Israeli goods.

Timing is everything, even in apocalyptic doom-mongering. When my book America Alone came out in 2006, the conventional wisdom was that its argument about Europe's demographic death spiral was "alarmist" (The Economist). Seven years on, it's so non-alarmist that even the Washington Post is running stories about the Continent's "plummeting" birth rates. The Post's focus was on a small corner of the Portuguese interior, wherein their reporter met Maria Jesus Rodrigues, 87, who recently moved into the old folks' home from her nearby village. The youngest resident is 57. Not in the old folks' home, but in the village. That's to say, the entire parish qualifies for membership in the AARP, which regards you as a potentially "retired person" from the age of 50.

In The Children of Men, P. D. James's dystopian novel of a world turned mysteriously barren, the roads are potholed and broken, and the buildings crumbling, for want of a sufficiently able-bodied population to maintain them. By 2021, the year Lady James's story is set in, much of inland Portugal will be approaching the same condition — not through biological affliction, but through a kind of silent mass consensus that this is no longer a world worth bringing children into.
